Blu Ripples Founder, Katherine Foster has received her updated Working with Children Clearance through the Office of Children’s Guardian (NSW Government) today (12 Jan 2015).
A Working With Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone working in child-related occupation. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct (source Office of Children’s Guardian website).
Thus, Katherine has been granted clearance to work with Children (0-18 years of age) either in a paid or unpaid capacity until Jan 2020 at which point Katherine will be required to undertake another Working With Children Check in accordance with current legislation.
